How to Add Browser Source Games to TikTok Studio
Most streamers search for "Browser Source" because they think it's the only way to add widgets. But for high-performance games, using Game Capture is the professional choice. Here is why and how to do it.
Why NOT use Browser Source for Games?
Browser sources are basically hidden Chrome tabs running on top of your stream. They consume a lot of RAM and can lag if your internet fluctuates.
The Better Way: Using a native Windows app (like TiktokBox) connected via Game Capture guarantees 60 FPS smoothness and zero input delay when viewers send gifts.
Step 1: The "Engine" (Background App)
Before opening TikTok Studio, launch the TiktokBox App.
This app acts as the secure bridge. It listens for gifts like "Rose" or "Galaxy" and translates them into game commands instantly. Keep it running in the background.
Step 2: Add Source in TikTok Studio
Now, let's put the game on screen.
- Open TikTok LIVE Studio.
- Click Add Source +
- Do NOT select "Link" or "Browser". Instead, select Game Capture.
-
Select your game window (e.g.,
[gettingoverit.exe]) from the list. - Click "Add". Resize the window to fill your vertical layout.
💡 Pro Tip:
If "Game Capture" shows a black screen, remove it and try Window Capture. This often fixes compatibility issues with older games.
Step 3: Go Live
That's it! No complex URLs to copy-paste. Because the app runs natively on your PC, the connection is stable.
When a viewer sends a gift, our No-Loot-Box system ensures the game reacts instantly, encouraging them to send more.
